The correct choice of hydraulic fluid requires knowledge of the operating temperature. The hydraulic fluid should be chosen so that the operating viscosity remains within the optimum range. We recommend selecting a higher viscosity class in each case (e.g., VG 68 for 60°C operating temp). Case drain temperatures should not exceed 115°C.
